Yorkshire Children of Courage Awards Nominations Roadshow – hosted by RIASA at Bradford City FC

On 9 July, the St. James’s Place Yorkshire Children of Courage Awards (YCCA) took their Nominations Roadshow to BCFC where it was hosted by Sponsor Richmond International Academic & Soccer Academy (RIASA). The aim of the Roadshow is to encourage the public to make individual nominations for children and young adults to be recognised for their bravery, courage and overall achievements at the YCCA annual awards dinner this October.

Attending pitch side at Bradford City with the Nominations Box were several members and pupils of the RIASA team, including Mark Ellis – Director RIASA, Rob Jones – Head Academy Coach, Dawn Craven- Head of Operations, John Hendrie – Academy Coach, John Francis – RIASA Coach. Representing the St. James’s Place Foundation was Scott Campbell.

RIASA is a unique academic and soccer programme run in partnership with Richmond the American International University in London. Co-founded by Mark Ellis, former Bradford City professional footballer, RIASA provides their student athletes with an unrivalled experience of soccer training unlike any other provider. This is a particularly high profile opportunity to study for an international dual accredited US/UK degree, whilst being able to develop and showcase their talents as football players across the UK and in Europe.
