The Chuckle Brothers make final call for nominations for Yorkshire Children of Courage Awards 2015

Yorkshire Children of Courage Awards (YCCA) official Nominations Roadshow comes to a close on Monday 27th July as the Nominations Box makes a final appearance at the Wakefield branch of Manning Stainton.

Leading Yorkshire based Estate Agency chain Manning Stainton are the 2105 Roadshow partners and have hosted the box at several of their offices over recent weeks. The idea was for people to find out more about the Awards and to nominate children and young adults deserving of recognition for their bravery, courage and contribution to their communities.

Attending to enliven proceedings in their inimitable way will be event Ambassadors, the evergreen Chuckle Brothers, who have been supporting and endorsing Yorkshire Children of Courage Awards for the past 3 years. Loved by children and adults alike for their own personal brand of quick wit Yorkshire humour Barry and Paul will encourage final calls for individual nominations for the 2015 Ceremony.

Commenting, they told us: “There are no words that can express the bravery of these children more than the way they lead their lives. That says it all. Love and good luck to them all. We are all very proud of them.”

The 2015 star studded YCCA ceremony and dinner will take place on 16th October at New Dock Hall, Leeds, compered by BBC Breakfast Business Journalist and programme co-host, Steph McGovern. Tickets are on sale via the website. The 2014 event raised in excess of £100,000 of funds for The St. James’s Place Foundation for redistribution to local communities via grant application.

People wishing to register and nominate have until Wednesday 29th July to submit online at
