Roadshow at Follifoot Park – nominees for the group award

Yesterday we had the great pleasure of witnessing the amazing work of Follifoot Park Disabled Riders Group near Harrogate. 9 young children with various illnesses and disabilities were all riding.  Talking to their Mums we gained a better understanding of what riding and interaction with the ponies delivers to their lives. The Group has been nominated for the Group Award at Yorkshire Children of Courage Awards on 14th October – you can vote for them online atwww.yorkshirechildren.co.uk.  We would like to thank Dom & Geri, one of our main sponsors, for being present again and to quote Julie, from the company, “The more I get involved, the better it gets!”.
