News from one of our Group Award Nominees – Children’s Heart Surgery Fund

Children’s Heart Surgery Fund has an important announcement
“Our annual Wear Red Day is nearly upon us – and we’d love you and your company to get involved! This year it takes place on Friday 3rd February and we are encouraging businesses, schools and members of the public to wear something red, or do something red on the 3rd, or around this time, to raise awareness of congenital heart disease and to raise money to help families affected by this.
There are loads of great ideas from companies about what they’ll do on the day including:
– TSB are going to be holding a red cake sale for customers to take part in
– Yorkshire County Cricket players are going to take part – this is pretty special as we all know red is not their usual colour!!
– Leeds Arena will turn red for us by bathing itself in red light on 3rd Feb
– Napoleons Casino will be making badges for all their team to prompt conversation with their customers about Wear Red Day
– The Trinity Shopping Centre will be using lights to turn their dome red.
Can any of you help raise awareness of congenital heart disease?
