Call for Nominations from Bradford based past award winner

The St. James’s Place Wealth Management Yorkshire Children of Courage Awards (YCCA) annual Nominations Roadshow 2019 was on the move to Bradford City Football Club on 18th July, hosted by Richmond International Academic & Soccer Academy (RIASA) who are a YCCA Sponsor.

Queensbury, Bradford based Jaxon Green-Moore, who won the 2018 Young Fundraiser Award, was on hand to promote the call for Nominations for the 2019 YCCA Awards Ceremony. Jaxon has a complicated illness called ‘Leopard Syndrome’ – part of this is that he has ‘Cardiomyopathy’ (a heart condition). He and his family have supported YCCA over the past 3 years by taking part in our fundraising events and Jaxon has organised fundraising events with his Beavers which have raised nearly £2,000 in 2018.

Proudly displaying his trophy Jaxon was joined by a host of sponsors and sporting celebs pitch side. Alongside him were Friend of the Awards, Eorl Crabtree, ex professional Rugby League player, and a host of ex professional soccer players including Mark Ellis who heads up RIASA.

Commenting, Mark said: it is a pleasure to support such a wonderful charity that celebrates many of the brave and inspirational young people of Yorkshire. RIASA could not think of a better cause”.

Long time sponsors of the Awards, Andrew Firth of Leeds based Ascensor Digital Agency and Jonathan France of Huddersfield based France & Associates Architects Practice were also present to lend their support.
