St James’s Place Wealth Management is delighted to announce the 10th Anniversary of the Yorkshire Children of Courage Awards (YCCA). A special celebration of our past winners will take centre stage on Friday 14th October 2022 at New Dock Hall in Leeds.

There are new Award categories for the 2022 ceremony to celebrate the 10th Anniversary and these will feature:
- Outstanding Achievement
- Community Champion
- Special Activities
- 10th Anniversary Special Recognition
The St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation is an independent charity regulated by the Charity Commission and established in 1992 by St. James’s Place Wealth Management to reflect the philanthropic interests of the business and the wider St. James’s Place community.
Since its formation, through the collective efforts of the St. James’s Place community and company matching more than £110 million has been raised. The monies raised are then distributed through a range of grant programmes to hundreds of charities each year, both in the UK and overseas.
Our event has a distinctly ‘Yorkshire flavour’ with support and endorsement throughout the year from Yorkshire born celebrity Ambassadors and Friends. They are joined at the Awards by personalities from the worlds of business, sport and entertainment.
Read on and find out how you can get involved in the 2022 event and become part of the growing community of sponsors, supporters and followers. Everybody is welcome – the more the merrier!
Our sponsors are mainly Yorkshire based businesses or organisations with close relationships with St. James’s Place. Their ongoing support ensures that the Awards continue to grow in stature and importance.
Our Media Partners play a massive part in helping us to grow awareness, find new followers and share the children’s stories.
Each year the organising team from St. James’s Place Leeds location faces the unenviable task of reading the nominee’s stories and shortlisting the winners. What is significant is that many past winners have used YCCA as a ‘springboard’ to further achievement and recognition in their careers and daily lives.
There are so many ways that you can contribute to the Yorkshire Children of Courage Awards – from donating a raffle or auction prize to becoming an event partner or sponsor.
